TRUMBULL COLLEGE: October 27, 2025
Happy Halloweek!! Be safe and have fun this week! We’re planning on taking Sahej trick-or-treating on Friday in East Rock, which is always fun.
Last week, with the midterm deadline on Friday, I chatted with many of you throughout the week, and very much appreciated that folks took advantage of my open Zoom hours each day. Remember that I have open Zoom hours every Friday (typically in the morning – this week, from 10:00-11:30am on Halloween morning) in addition to appointments available via Calendly. It was also great seeing many of you at Rumbull in Trumbull on Friday afternoon – huge thanks to TCC for their efforts.
We’re officially in the second half of the term! I’ve been getting questions about registration for next term – the process starts three weeks from today (the week leading up to November Recess). You can find more info here: https://registration.yale.edu/registration/yale-college-registration
Hope you’re all hanging in there – enjoy these sunny crisp days and the foliage! Though the days are getting shorter, they’ll get an hour shorter next week (but we’ll get an extra hour of sleep this weekend) – so get outside when you can!
And a friendly reminder to get your flu shot! We got ours a couple of weeks ago: https://yalehealth.yale.edu/topic/flu-and-covid-vaccine-program-2025-2026
Have a great week!!
Meeting with me
To make an appointment, please use the Calendly scheduling tool, https://calendly.com/dean_c, or reach out to Alice with any scheduling issues. For in-person meetings, please come to the office. We’re right here in Trumbull G104, which you can access across from Entryway A or through Entryway G. Zoom meetings (including open Zoom office hours) will be through my Zoom page: https://yale.zoom.us/my/skchandhoke.
My OPEN ZOOM office hours for each week are listed on the top of my Calendly page. When you click on the Zoom link, you will be placed into a waiting room. I will speak to students (one-on-one) in the order they “arrive.” My upcoming Open Hours are Friday, October 31st (10-11:30am).
Please note that I teach on Wednesday mornings during the fall term.
