TrumBulletin If you are feeling the rush of the semester as we approach the last week of classes, we are with you! So here are some helpful reminders of upcoming events at Trumbull so that you can find some relief and distraction. Saturday, April 20th: The Spring Formal has been organized by Trumbull College Council to be held at NOA from 10:30pm-1am. We hope that this is a safe and fun evening for all Trumbullians, as you dance the night away! April 22nd-30th: This last week of classes is Passover. If you are looking for a Seder to attend, the options are Slifka which is more pluralistic, and Chabad which is more traditional. Both are open to all, but please check out their websites for more information. Rose Bender, Trumbull’s Grad Affiliate, is also doing a Seder on the evening of Friday, April 26th in the Fellow’s Lounge. However, this event is intended for MD & PA students, but there may be space for one or two Trumbullians, and if interested please contact her directly. Monday, April 22nd: To show appreciation for Trumbull Staff, Student Aides, FroCos, and many others, the HoC House will host an Appreciation Luncheon from 12-1:30pm. We hope to see many of you then. Thursday, April 25th: A Trumbull alumnus, a radiologist at Cornell and an author of a recent book entitled “First, Eat Your Frog: And Other Pearls for Professional Working Mothers”, Dr. Elizabeth Arleo will present a Tea at the HoC House from 4-5pm. Friday, April 26th: Pamplona returns to the Trumbull Courtyard from 2-4pm!!! There will be lots of fun things to do - crafts, snacks, games, music … Please lookout for details shortly. Friday, April 26th: There will be CPA production in the Courtyard by seniors Daevan Mangalmurti & Sameer Sultan from 6-8pm, which is shortly after the Pamplona. Saturday, April 27th: In honor of senior Awa Cisse being named the Luce Fellowship Scholar, there will be small luncheon in her honor (by invitation only) at the HoC House from 12-1:30pm. Monday, April 29th: The last Mellon Forum Dinner will happen at the HoC House from 6-8pm. This event is for seniors only who have signed up for this semester-long event. Tuesday, April 30th: The Senior Reception will be at the HoC House from 4:45-5:30pm followed by the Senior Dinner at the Dining Hall from 6-7:15pm. There will be photographs at the Courtyard between these events. After the last week of classes, we are in the reading week with many Study Breaks! Here are the dates for the breaks, with most of them likely held in the Dining Hall from 9-10pm unless otherwise noted.
