Hello Trumbullians!

As we all prepare for The Game (11/22) and Thanksgiving Break (next week), please take ample preparations and precautions if you are traveling. You can use Yale’s rideshare app or screen through various options for CT limo services. As for The Game, enjoy it but make smart choices. I wish you safe travels and I hope that return well rested to finish the fall semester strong.

If you are on campus, please know that Dean of Yale College Pericles Lewis and Chair of the Council of Heads of College and Head of Morse College Catherine Panter-Brick would like to invite you to attend the Yale College Thanksgiving Dinner at the Omni Hotel on Thursday, November 27th, from 12-2pm. Students planning to attend must register here as soon as possible.

There wasn’t much happening except on Tuesday evening (11/18) at the HoC House, our amazing FroCos enjoyed a casual Fireside Chat with Dean C and I, but a surprise guest was Sahej (our Dean’s son), who blessed the evening with his special smores making strategies.

On Thursday evening (11/20) Trumbullians enjoyed the Harvest Dinner at our Dining Hall. Later that in evening two of our very own, Brandon Du ’26 who won the concerto competition this year and Tobias Liu ’26 who was one of two winners last year, represented Trumbull College at the Yale Symphony Orchestra at Woolsey Hall. Way to represent Trumbullians!

I would like to remind you that the HoC office plan intentionally for off-site events. If we have to cancel for low enrollment, or there are last minute no shows after you have signed up, it affects future programming of similar events. I ask that if you sign up for events or trips but then discover that you are unable to attend, I expect you to let us know promptly so another student can take your spot.

As winter approaches, if any student has additional needs for warm clothes or wants to donate some warm clothes for others, please look out for messages from the HoC Office in the coming days.

Periodically, I would like to share some of your personal adventures and experiences. So please simply write to me or we can discuss in-person.

Sincerely, MOO-RAH!

Fahmeed Hyder, HoC Trumbull
