Trum-Tea Today, 4 p.m. in the Trumbull House. Gabby Pascuzzi from Survivor
Today at 4 Gabby Pascuzzi who was a contestant on CBS’ Survivor show (on Fiji) will be our guest.
She will speak of her experiences on a reality TV show, how she came to be on the show, what the experience taught her, and how fans reacted with regard to gender dynamics, the power of social media, and feelings of vulnerability.
Thanks
As usual, I can’t believe the semester is almost over. Next week is the last week of classes and then there is reading period and finals. From now until the end of finals there will be many papers due and many exams accompanied by many study breaks later and early in the morning.
I wish everyone the best as we all work hard. Pace yourself. Do your best. Get enough sleep. Get some exercise. Be supportive of one another (and quiet as people work).
TrumBulletin – Thanksgiving Break
I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving break.
With our first snowfall, our dining hall’s annual and wonderful pre-Thanksgiving-Thanksgiving dinner and the impending pending Game against Harvard, I am reminded of how swiftly each semester passes. I wish you all a wonderful time at the Game (if you are going) and a great Thanksgiving and a restful and enjoyable break. I’ve heard from many that “we need this.” (We do!)
I hope all of you had a relaxing October Break with some extra time to sleep late, catch up with family if you went home or with friends if you stayed here or visited a friend’s family. I also hope that you had both a chance to recover from mid-terms taken or to prepare for mid-terms to be taken depending upon how these things fell for you.
I hope all enjoyed the beautiful weekend weather. (I did think, “This is wonderful. Why wasn’t the sailing trip this weekend?” But such activities have to be scheduled way ahead of time and weather just happens. My fingers are now crossed for good weather for our TrumBall.
I hope that all have arranged schedules for the semester with which they are happy. Get those schedules signed and submitted! I hope you enjoy the learning and I wish everyone the best with their academic work.
As you navigate your courses, focus on the learning. Don’t worry too much if you hit glitches We all hit glitches. (If you knew everything why would you be here?) Remember that we have Trumbull writing and quantitative tutors affiliated with the college. Make use of their services.

I hope everyone’s shopping period is going well and schedules are coming together in ways about which you are excited. I wish all the best for a wonderful semester.
A tragedy

To our new Trumbull Class of 2022, welcome! To all our upperclass Trumbullians, welcome back!
I was here in Trumbull College most of the summer (with the exception of one trip to a conference in Colorado and some vacation with family in Rhode Island.) Our Dean, our residential fellows, Deb Bellmore, Debbie Rueb and Leah Jehan also have been here much of the summer spending much of their time preparing for your arrival.
